Our products do not contain any preservatives. For optimal freshness, we recommend enjoying these chocolates as soon as possible.
You can follow these guidelines for individual products:
- Truffles & cream-filled bonbons: 10 days from purchase
- Other bonbons (non-cream): 1 month
- Caramels, Marzipans, Gianduja (Nut Paste): 3 months
- Nut Bark: 2 months from purchase
- Chocolate-covered fruit: 3 months
- Florentine cookie: 2 months
- Hot chocolate mix: 1 year
Truffles and chocolate are best kept cool and dry. A cool basement or pantry is ideal.
Chocolate is best eaten at room temperature; however, keeping truffles in the fridge will prolong their shelf life.

Yes, we ship in Canada for a flat rate to most destinations. More remote Canadian destinations may incur a surcharge. For destinations outside Canada, please be aware of the increased cost of shipping and possible customs charges. Most importantly, keep in mind the product shelf life. Chocolate truffles are best eaten within 10 days of leaving our store. Also, keep in mind you are sending chocolate, and depending on the season and the destination, your product may arrive in a puddle!
Oh yes, we do! We have a good selection of bars that contain only the cocoa beans - which are 100% cocoa. We also have a good selection of chocolate confectionery sweetened with malitol, an artificial sweetener.
A large portion of our chocolates are vegan! All our dark chocolate nut barks and fruit, and most of our dark chocolate bars, and some of our best-selling bonbons. To list a few: Dark Mouse, Cherry Bomb, Brulee, marzipans, Praline cups, Vegan classic dark.

When you visit our downtown store at 703 Fort Street, we can curate a custom box for you. When ordering online, you can select the “custom” box and make a note of which types you want. We will do our best to fulfill your custom selection. You can also email us any specific allergies or concerns about an order.

We produce all our chocolates in-house on-site at 703 Fort Street or our Government Street chocolate factory location.

Many of our products are made with certified organic and Fair Trade bean from Dominican Republic. The rest of our chocolate selection is single-origin sourced and does not come from areas of the world associated with child slavery or other labour issues.
Yes, it is! White chocolate is a chocolate made from cocoa butter, sugar and milk solids. It does not contain the non-fat components of cocoa (cocoa solids). Most of our white chocolate is sourced from Belgium or our Canadian ‘bean-to-bar’ makers, and it is all exquisite!
